Postpartum Support
Every postpartum experience is unique.
As your doula, I walk alongside you through this transition, supporting your emotional, mental and practical needs in a way that feels deeply personalised and supportive to you and your family.
Some days you may need practical support. Other days you may need rest, reassurance, nourishment or simply someone to hold space for everything you are moving through.
Before each visit, I check in to ensure you are receiving the support you most need in that moment. My intention is for you to feel seen, heard, nourished and deeply cared for after every visit.
Ways I May Support You
Support may include:
Emotional and mental support
Nourishing meal preparation in your home
Caring for your baby while you shower, sleep or eat
Gentle foot soaks and massage to encourage rest
Practical household support such as laundry and changing linen
Feeding and settling support
Supporting older siblings through the transition
Guided yoga nidra for restorative rest
Birth and postpartum debriefing
Nervous system regulation tools
Sleep and self-care support
Boundary-setting support
Accompanying you to appointments if needed
Ongoing support via phone and text between visits
More often than not, mothers are unsure what support will feel most valuable in the moment — and that is completely okay.
Part of my role is gently noticing what is needed and helping carry the load before you even need to ask.
